Jesus said that His followers are the light of the world. Our light should reflect His light - in our actions, attitudes, and appearance to a watching world. In the Bible, light represents holiness and the presence of God. By His Holy Spirit's presence, and cleansed by the blood of Jesus, walk in the light today!
God, thank you that you are light, life, and love. Thank you that you are holy and in You is no darkness at all. With Your strength in me, help me show the light of Jesus to the world around me. Help Jesus show up in my reactions to challenges, relationships with difficult people, and my choices to flee temptation and sin. Thank you, my Lord and my Light, for the gift of another day to live for you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
