The Devotion
With Jesus, we can live in troubled times without troubled hearts. Jesus didn't promise that there would be an absence of pain and problems in our lives, but He did promise victory in Him! With His Spirit empowering and leading us, we can live victoriously. With the Apostle Paul we can say, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)!
Lord, thank you that Your presence in me is greater than anything around me. Help me stand firm on the promise of your peace today. I know you have the ultimate victory and the war has been won through Your death, burial, and resurrection. May Your resurrection life live through me today. In Jesus' name. Amen.
